Help error

Postby Obelix on Sun 26. May, 2002 15:23

Hi Niels,

when I launch the module, a mistake occurs : SET OPTION SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1....?

This mistake occurs because I have more than 3000 members.

It is not possible to modify the option big select.....

Would you have a solution ?

Thank you for your answer....

(if a how-to is EM ready, it will mostly be bullet prof, since a machine is more picky than a human. :D)

Hi Niels,

For infos :

Added -O max_join_size=# option to mysqld, to be able to set a limit how big queries (in this case big = slow) one should be able to handle without specifying SET OPTION SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1. A # = is about 10 examined records.

I don't have the possibility to change at my FAI :(
One can adapt the request SQL ?

Thank you...

I'm not that fast, I have never head the word before, please be more pacient and tell more specific, as you migth now I have only araound 150 users, so I can "test" a case like yours has it to do with mysql MAX, or like....the automod, does select all the "induvidual rules" given to the groups and the users, but are also opening the user table, what can you giveme a info about the
SQL_BIG_SELECT

when is it used, how is it used, and under witch SQL servers (all, or...)
(if a how-to is EM ready, it will mostly be bullet prof, since a machine is more picky than a human. :D)
