an off topic question; since my board is pretty new, no one have 500 topics posted and i think i'll setu the hidden forum to 1000 topics; the problems is that no moderators have posted 1000 topics, so no one can access that forum moderators include? Am i wrong?
If it's correct, is there a mod to increase number of topics to moderators?

I think I have seen sutch mod allowing you to change the users post count (or you can modify it with phpmyadmin or like), but why then use my AUTO GROUP mod, why not manuel put the users in a "Moderators" group, if you don't wan to give them access depenting on there number of post, then it is a basic featur of phpBB2....
and it sounds more like it is what you are seeking

Thanks, I'll modify the number of posts with phpmyadmin and what's the table i have to change?

I need your mod, because moderators must have access to a private forum that must be accessible only by moderators and admin; then i will create a forum with your mod that can be accessible only when you posted 500 topics.

Do you think i can already install it? it seems to working fine, so, even if in beta version i can make a try this afternoon

the tabel is "prefix_users" and the field is "user_posts"

but I stil not understand why you are not making a private forum, and then make a usergroup "Moderators" witch have access to the private forum, no need for the AUTO GROUP mod, the moderator of the usergroup can add as meny members as he/she like
(use the link in the top "usergroups" and lookup the group, press "ADD USER")

the "moderators" can then have access to the PRIVATE forum, regardless of the number of posts


the only thing my mod does is "automatic" add members when the have posted more than a specifyed amounts of posts, and since you would like to modify that manually or add specific users, then there is no need for a "AUTO GROUP" more a regular group ...but again it is up to you ofcouse, just saying this so your not doing unnessesary work

a private group must be private for a little number of persons; while creating an hidden group and set it with your mod, can be a good reason to encourage people to post more topics.

0.9.5. -> 0.9.6. - change the SQL statement in the file auth.php
0.9.6. -> 0.9.7. - do the file phpBB2/admin/admin_ug_auth.ph
0.9.7. -> 0.9.8. - do the file phpBB2/admin/admin_mass_email.php

I have now released a BETA of the new AUTOGROUP, users will now be added to the usergroups, this way inshures moe compability, please post language files, in the language section

new version is 0.10.0, this is a BETA with basic funtionallity's, there will however come some updates, since there is some isues, I have to handle, the posted code, however is expected to be stable, and working as it is.
