I'm getting a problem when trying to translate a Russian post to English on my forum.

here is a non working link:

Here is a working link:

http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfis ... hp?p=15689

If you click on the last one, you will get a session error because the session isn't appeneded to the link, but it will still translate the error.

Basically, URLTRUTL is TRURL, and URLTEXT is just URL. Haven't tried fixing the mod yet, but I'll try it in the next day or so.

Thanks Max. My forum is offline for a few days due to a faulty motherboard but I'll look into it further once I get up and running again.
If you manage to fix it first, can you please post backhere, thanks.

There is a small change in altavista's submission URL. Here is how to correct your translator.

Code: Select all
#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------------
#
viewtopic.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------------
#
$translate_link = '<a href="http://babelfish.altavista.com

#
#-----[ IN-LINE FIND ]----------------------------------------
#
urltrurl

#
#-----[ IN-LINE REPLACE ]----------------------------------
#
trurl_load

#
#-----[ IN-LINE FIND ]----------------------------------------
#
urltext

#
#-----[ IN-LINE REPLACE ]----------------------------------
#
url

This will update your script to use the current (as of May, 2004) babelfish submission format.[/code]

Thanks for that.

It has now altered the error to give me the "session does not exist" message.

I've used the advice here too.
