I'm getting an error saying Invalid_session after the following steps:

1 browse to a forum
2 click moderate this forum
3 select an item in the jump to menu
*error*

For some reason, after step 2, it shows the session ID in the URL, even though it does nowhere else in the forum. Shouldn't it be getting the session ID from a cookie (which is getting set and working elsewhere on the forum) and not the URL?

You have this Invalid session error message when you try to moderate a topic in modcp.php !!!
That's a phpBB bug, not due to the Mod

It was indeed a bug in ModCP, but I found the solution in another thread. The solution was to add this line to the top of modcp.php:

define('IN_ADMIN', true);
