MOD not working

Postby DemonCleaner on Sat 16. Oct, 2004 21:40

First of all, I'm a newbie to whole PHP and websites.
I recently made a phpbb forum on my site dead-eternity.psworld.net
I uploaded the files, and I edited those 2 files I needed to edit (even though that template file was in a different dir), and I don't see any new features on the site.
Can anyone tell me what could I possibly do wrong?

To see the ModCP, you need MOD rights
if you are ADMIN, you don't see it :)

Try with a test account and give him MOD rights...

Oh, ok. Also, I though this MOD would add more User Levels, such as Admin, Elite Mod, Mod, etc?

So how do I set up Super Mod and Mod? I only see Admin and Mod levels atm.

The ModeratorCP does not add new levels, it only adds a control panel for all moderators = level ID# 2
with a lot of features totally secures

if you want new levels, not new ranks or color groups which are totally different, you need the User Level Mod
-> http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=205252
Same answer as the post below this one
Currently User Level Mod does not have a level higher to MOD
level order: ADMIN -> MOD -> SUPPORT (Team) -> BOT -> USER -> ANONYMOUS

New version will add a new level between ADMIN and MOD similar to a Super Moderator but with more rights and will introduce permissions setting for SUPPORT and BOT levels

it really depends on your needs :)
