Management error v(2.08)

Postby Kazango on Wed 02. Jun, 2004 22:52

I have along time this mod and it works great. But now a have a phpbb 2.08 version running and after installing this mod no problems occur. When a moderator want something to edit in the Management and push the button nothing happens :(
How can a solve this?

between 2.0.6 and 2.0.8, admin files have been updated :?
-> ModCP isn't compatible with phpBB 2.0.8
but you can update it if you replace old files with new from your phpBB 2.0.8 admin directory

i will update it asap, maybe at the end of this month

files that have the same name as your mod_xxxx.php
in your admin dir, you have admin_users.php
in modcp you can add it and rename as mod_users.php + change the template URL body.tpl

? URL body.tpl I don't have this file :?

And only admin_users.php 2.08 to mod_users.php did not work. I also tried to copy user_edit_body.tpl 2.08 to modcp in templates, this also did not work. Mayby all wait to you update modcp

if you can wait for 2 or 3 weeks, you will have a full update with bugs fixed and 2.0.8 package

I have downloaded the new MOD CP and it looks ok, but still I can't edit in the management :(
I have 2.08
When I use the files from admin PhpBB it will work but it is not secure for my forum. A want some things protected like password, and delete user button removed. when I remove some things out off the user_edit_body.tpl from the orgiginal phpbb in modcp it stays the same :(

delete your old modcp directories (also remove modcp dir in template)
and replace them with the new files

By default, all the options you want (no deletion option, no admin & mod account edition, no ban for admin, etc...) are available

A moderator can't edit ADMIN account or an other MOD account, he only can edit his account or users accounts
It will work, for me it works

PS: do not use your files from ADMIN, only edit the files from modcp if you have few mods like gender or birthday in admin_users.php
edit these files
same thing with templates/subSilver/modcp
edit these files for your templates classes, they are designed to work with the ModCP
