Hey Neils,

Great mod . . . but I seem to be having a problem with EDIT and MOVE UP, MOVE DOWN.

Are you aware of any known issues with these features and if you are, can you recommend a fix or a work around?
Is it possible to handle MOVE UP and MOVE DOWN via the Database??
I'm going to have a HUGE list of links, that will be continually updated, and it's just not possible to enter them in alphabetical order.
As of now, any time I try and MOVE UP or MOVE DOWN an item, it either does nothing, or it bring me to my forums Index page. If I try to EDIT a Category or a Sub Category, it changes the placement of that location and trying to use MOVE UP or MOVE DOWN to put it back causes all of the link blocks on links.php, and in ACP, to go blank.

If you, or anyone, has any suggestions or work arounds, I'd love to hear them!

I just went in and looked at the Database, and it seems as though some Links are being assigned the same link_id.
Is it safe to assume that each new link you ass is assigned a link_id within the category is was created for and that these link_id's should be automatically assigned in assending order?
Would it be possible for me to go in any CHANGE the link_id therefor allowing me to manually have them appear in the order I want them too??

Haven't done much in a database, so I thought I'd refer to the masters!

I like the link mod very much and i use it a lot.

But i have exactly the same problem as LCNY, who started this topic.
Sorting Links inside a category with move up & move down seems to be impossible.

I followed the link you gave, but i guess, this was for he second reply and doesn´t help with the sorting issue.
Do you have a solution to fix this?
