hey all - just as topic says - I can create a catagory and subcatagory but when i go to add a link it times out saying sql database 30 sec timeout.

Any suggestions on how to fix ?

witch database do you use...
this mod uses simple SQL queryes like INSERT / UPDATE so it shoulden't be a problem....

i'm assuming the sql was inserted when I installed the board? I installed the preloaded mod and everything else worked except for that.. I do not get any errors or anything it just sends me to a time out when trying to add in a link in the admin panel..

please try upload the included files in links mod once more - I asume they might have been updated compared to the files you are runing with

hey there i reuploaded all the files and re-ran the sql just to make sure and it still timing out - here is the msg i get

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/epic1231/public_html/forum/admin/admin_links.php on line 186

do you use some special chars in the link setup.....e.g. ' " or / \
or is it plain ascii....?
