Installed this mod according to instructions with db update first then easy mod install. Everything appeared to complete successfully, however I'm having same problem that I am missing search, FAQ, Usergroups, etc. on header, zero forums show, and no footer... It is worrisome to see this problem repeated here without a clear response.

I see reference to a how to, but I don't see a clear how to use the mod as installed. I see how to make other pages restricted, but not the clear how to use the mod as it is installed. I'm sure I'm missing it but thought it would be more obvious.

Seems to be a recurring theme as I install mods and then bang around looking to figure out how they work. They are often brilliant modifications, but the "key" to simply using them is in the forums instead of a simple how-to file... In other words there is more on installing than using them.

Additional information:

Like "dss" in earlier post if I comment out the same code he does all the forums become visible again (this is all from an admin acct), however I still only have the "profile," "you have x messagees," and "logout/in" links in the header at the top. Losing search, usergroups, and FAQs in admin mode seems odd.

Also for the first time since I installed phpbb I'm getting weird latencies when selecting items from acp or within profiles. The first time I noticed this was on the mods.db9.dk system when I was registering. When I hit the popups on the registration page my screen froze and then released after a few seconds when the popup completed its process. I'm on a highbandwith connection with lots of processor and memory resources locally. Is this related to some extra processing or look-ups for certain areas...?

The idea of controling access to memberlist and other admin specified pages/links is great...

running add_perm_db_update.php brought back my index page...
