This mod will make it posible to specify permissions to all "special pages, like MEMBERLIST, PROFILE VIEW and so on.
The permissions support USERGROUP, making this tool very powerfull

Hi Niels,

Could u please help me on this error:

It seems like the syntax "-99" in the php file that we have to run is bad.
My MySQL version: 4.0.15-standard

db file was run b4 MOD installation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, when looking at the php file from Niels it says:

Code: Select all
define('IN_PHPBB', true);
$phpbb_root_path = './';
include($phpbb_root_path . 'extension.inc');
include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.'.$phpEx);
include($phpbb_root_path . 'includes/functions_selects.'.$phpEx);
define('SITE_HISTORY_TABLE', $table_prefix.'site_history');
define('TOPIC_VIEW_TABLE', $table_prefix.'topic_view');
define('PAGE_INDEX_PERMISSION', -99);

I don't have any knowledge in coding in general. But what I understand here is that some new tables called "Site_history and Topic_view" should be defined (created ?).

I then looked in my Database using phpMy_admin and there were no tables created bearing these names.

Any ideas ? I could create these tables manually, but I have no id on how to translate this php file in SQL execution.

Just make sure to copy correctly the code and not end with "==" instead of "=" like m3...
