I have installed this mod into a phpBB2.0.17 install and thought that it was working fine with no problems until I found that people registering were not getting the email link to activate their accounts. There was a could not send mail error when in sendmail mode and at smtp the error was

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 503 5.0.0 Need RCPT (recipient)

The files it showed an error with had not been touched.
I finally traced the error down to the file usercp_register.php and with that replaced by the backup the registration is working again. The Mass PM is working for all the Usergroups but I have not tested for "all users" (suspect that will be were the problem will occur)
I have checked the edits I made to that file and I made no errors.

Is there a problem with the mod and 2.0.17 or would any other file with an error cause the registration to throw up the mail error?
