Hi Niels,

I am using 1.0.3 because I am using phpBB 2.0.0. I am not using version 2.0.2. Does it work with 2.0.0 too (it is explicite told only to work with 2.0.2!)?

I cannot upgrade to 2.0.2 because I have a very large amount of MODs installed.

Hi Niels,

BTW, when adding a tpl for All Users, does it have to be named "custom_email_All Users.tpl" (notice the space!).

Refere to your how to:
the custom email is allways named "custom_email_XX.tpl, where XX is the same as the user group name

it should work with 2.0.0. as well, most upgrades, regaring this mod, are preformance improvements, lately I have tryed, improve this, by enabling sending out emails to Huge user groups, this have thougth not yet been confirmed (I need admin with HUGE amount of users to test this)

if runing on phpBB2, I will advice you to go to admin panel and ban the word "java**script", replacing it with e.g. "java*script" this will stop one of the security holes in phpBB2 ver 2.0.0.

about the "ALL USERS" template isues, I have migth not taken this into consideration when made this mod, I will have to look into that - thanks for repporting

Hm, how do I ban from the admin panel?

Well, the question is how to handle a groupname with spaces ...

Otherwise, mass-emailing a group called Translators should I create a file called custom_email_Translators.tpl? Is that correct?
What happens if I do not create that file?

Thanks!

In "General Admin" there is a option "word censors" that is what I ment, by banning a word.

custom_email_Translators.tpl, are good, if you do not create the file, the script will default to "boards language" and look for a simmilar template here, if this also fails, if will return to the users language, and select the default mass_email template

I have looked into the custom template for "ALL" users, if you do wish to use a special template for this, then simply use a name without any "group name" like
custom_email_.tpl, it should then be selected when emailing "ALL" users, please test this, since I haven't

Hm, I do not understand the following:

ban the word "java*script", replacing it with e.g. "java*script"

What should I replace it with (you are using the same word ...)?

I understand the template-usasge now. Thank you!
