Niels wrote:I have looked into the custom template for "ALL" users, if you do wish to use a special template for this, then simply use a name without any "group name" like
custom_email_.tpl, it should then be selected when emailing "ALL" users, please test this, since I haven't

Hi Niels,

Did you test this in the meantime?

you will have to remove the "unsubscribe" link in the template for all users, since it will not work, they would have a link with would give then a error, "not being in that group"
so simply not include this in the "all users" template

Yes you are right. But what about this possibility:

I install your auto group-MOD, set up a group called newsletter and set the auto-group-number to ZERO for that group. Then all registered user are transfered into that group (is that correct?).

Then the users can unsubscribe ...

Is that possible? Or are the members automatically transfered into the newsletter group again (because the auto-group-number is set to zero)?

I can see you point, but it should be able to solve

as you said, create a group "newsletter" make the post count "0"

then DO NOT enable the "Users automatic added when posting" feature
and enable the "Add/Update new users" feature, then submit the group

this will create a group with all existing users into it, and if a user unsubscribe, then they will not become a member again (since the "Users automatic added when posting" are disabled)

in current version, they will be added when changing there profile, but I will look into this, so this does not happen
