Redirection & FireFox Browser

Postby PhrostByte on Mon 13. Dec, 2004 19:24

Hi,
I've been trying to find a fix for this problem that seems to be plaguing a lot of people using your Complete Banner MOD. Apparently, when you click on any banner related to this MOD while using the FireFox webbrowser, the redirect page never redirects to the appropriate link. It continues to stay on the redirect page.

This seems to only happen with FireFox browsers, as far as I can tell. It works fine for IE, so is there a way to make this MOD work in both browsers?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated -- By many, I'm sure.

Thanks in advance,
PhrostByte

I noticed this script works much better then the old script. There is pretty much no way to cheat and steal points unless the site just lags out. The best fit redirect script if you ask me.

I have this error regardless of browser. My URL is parsing like:
http://www.bighustle.com/brix-central/r ... anner_id=1

I am getting:
If you page does not show shortly, please click Here to go to the requested URL

I am using IE and this script on a fresh 2.0.13. I made the fix changes for the mysql and the typo - that's it, nothing more. These changes didn't make a difference at all however in the redirection.

I removed the ** and it still seems to not work. Now I see the "opening page" thing in IE but it stalls and says "DONE" no matter what - and goes nowhere. Any suggestions?
