General Error - User does not exist.

I'm running Complete Banner 1.3.6em. It worked when I installed it near the beginning of this year. I recently brought on a new sponsor and today I clicked on "NEW BANNER" and got the error:

General Error
User does not exist.

There was another post here from a couple of months ago but no one replied with any ideas. This is a list of changes that were made to my forum since I installed this mod:

- Upgraded to 2.0.17 (I had 2.0.11 when I installed Complete Banner)
- installed Advanced IP Tools Pack Version: 0.3.1
- repaired the forgot password feature using code from Marshalrusty on phpbb.com
- upgraded Advance Time Management to version 2.2.0
