this would be difficlut, since it will require a new table in the DB, for storring witch uses have clicked at witch banner at what specific time.....

anyway it seam to me that your cokie does not work prober, you should try verify your cookie settings in ACP, there must be a isue with them - does cookie works on your forum ? e.g. are the SID=xxxxxxx displayed in yuor browsers URL when browsing your froum ?

Yes the tag SID=XXXXXXXXXXXX is not in the URL. So means that my cookies are working properly?.

How could it be with the other method you told me, tables and all that stuff?.

when a user clicks on a banner a cookie is stored for 600 sec on the client machine, if this cookie exist the user will not get points

Why 600 sec?? Is this the Session lenght?

some have installed a "points" mod, witch make it posible for admin to give some users "points"

this topic describe how to give users some points when they click on the banners - sort of paying them in "e-money" for clicking on the banners

getting more security for this would be great....

if we can make sure there is no way for a user to cheat the system (like deleteing their cookies) then this would be awesome... but right now it is way to easy to cheat....

It would be awesome if someone would make this script so you could specify so many points for a certain ad. Like you get 10 cents a click for a certain ad so you give 10 points and 5 cents a click for a different ad so you give 5 Points.
