2.0.11 compatibility

Postby pocuk on Wed 15. Dec, 2004 18:23

Hi Niels,

I had the complete banner mod on my 2.0.6 forum, but I have now upgraded to 2.0.11 and they've stopped showing up (I've obviously overwritten something).

Please advise if the code changes are just the same for 2.0.11

Regards,

Simon

I just installed the Complete Banner MOD with EM from Nutzzy, but nothing shows up neither in the ACP or forum. I also run the complete_banner_db_update.php file.

I'm running phpBB 2.0.11

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

I only installed under 2.0.5 and did it manually and everything worked. I assume the posts above were manual installs.

Can you check that the banner fields are in the database with phpMyAdmin?

Also check in some of your files to see if the EM changes have indeed been made.

Sorry I do not use EM but saw your post.

I too have just installed this in a 2.0.11 board and I do not see any change.
Where exactly should the images go that will be served for the banners?

Is that my problem?

You can either put a link in the field to point to a banner somewhere on the net, or put the banner in the images folder of your board, and point the path to it. (Which doesn't really make any sense).

Once I installed the Mod manually, there were no problems at all.
EM does something strange with this Mod, but haven't figured out what...
