Hi,

Can someone post the changes needed in order for me to remove the year and age to be compulsory?

Has anyone figured out how to do this on the latest version? Code that Niels posted doesn't exist anymore...

I am working on a little addon that will hide the birthyear and the age if users request so in their profile.
I will need a tester because I made it on my heavily modded board. It is based on phpBB2 Plus 1.52 with the latest phpBB version (2.0.17).

I posted the code here
Thanks!! ;)

Hi, antoonvdr

I installed your addon on a heavily modded phpBB ver. 2.0.11 without probs and all is running smooth as silk.
I skipped the section about the calendar mod, though, since I don't use it. But it didn't affect anything.

Excellent addon :) - just what I needed.

Please update your forum. It is for your own safety.
Nee, ik geef geen antwoorden in het Nederlands, die horen thuis op www.phpbb.nl ;)

Beeveer>>You're right, I know
Doing this for a living, it's just a time question. The problem being, that the more mod's a customer makes you put on a board, the longer it takes to update it. And I never really figured out how to explain to a customer, that he has to pay for a new version of a smooth running board 10 times a year
Thanks for the hint anyway, I'll try to to find some time to overhaul all "my" boards
