hello,

I've got the same problem. when a user registers the default setting is "Day [2] Month [January] Year [1970]" instead of "Day [-] Month [-] Year [blank]" ([] should indicate the forms ;)).
if the user sets his birthdate before registering, it will be set on 2nd of january 1970, too. the only way to save the correct date is to update information after having registered.

i'm not really into php, so please could anyone help us? :?

TIA, cheers, Muckl.

//edit: maybe the settings in ACP are helpful:
required: no
min. age: 0
max. age: 100
look forward: 7 days

As explained previously, I have the same problem as you. I have check into the database with php myadmin, the correct date is not registered. It means that is the transfert is not correctly done between the page displayed and the database.

@ Tony
your viewprofile is right, so you made an error in viewtopic

@ Muckl
you have an error in usercp_register.php
check your code
and be sure you ran SQL queries for your database
