There isn't a MOD for this but I have heard of it. What it does is when a preson joins your forum they are seperated at random into a usergroup.

I was wondering if anyone knew the code for this.

I did in the past write the code for this...
it was a user asking for a herry potter mod - you now the hat witch places the users in "house"

try search including the "harry potter" and you might be able to find it on www.phpbb.com (I belive it was the place I posted it meny years ago)
