in short: yes
the changes into the phpbb2 from 2.0.4 up to 2.0.8 are only minor - and related to bug fixing.
therefore most mods written for 2.0.x will still work on newer versions.

(if a how-to is EM ready, it will mostly be bullet prof, since a machine is more picky than a human.

yes, I know, I was a bit late, sometimes I chose to answer anyway, as another user might find the answer usefull.
expecially that kind of question - glad to hear you did try, and did succed with the installation.
and to all you others out there, mods.db9.dk are visited by aprox 700 users every day - it is imposible for me to answer all questions, so just be happy if it happens

yes of course... But I've seen in another post that should work and the subject is "Auto group [2.0.8/EM]", also I think it's right...
