Hi,

I tried to post over at the phpbb.com site, but the forum where you're supposed to post questions regarding mods was not allowing posts by anyone other than an admin, so here's my question:

I am running phpBB v2.06, which is pre-installed sitewide by my host. I'd like to use EasyMod (which I've already installed on my domain and seems to be working) to install Admin_Add_Users. The problem is EasyMod says to upload the mod files to the mod folder, but Admin_Add_Users just has the one file with all of the changes in it. Anyway, I placed that in the mod folder, but when I log in to my admin area it's not displaying a link about installing Mods, which I thought it was supposed to.

Am I missing something?

remember to place the install file (the txt file) in a subfolder, like included in the zip....

e.g.
yourdomain.com/phpBB2/admin/mods/admin_add_users_x.x.x/admin_add_users_x.x.xem.txt

Hi Niels,

Yes, I did place a folder called admin_add_users_0.10.2em inside the mods folders; I placed the mod with the name admin_add_users_0.10-2em.txt inside the folder of the same name (minus the .txt extension)

I'm running phpBB v2.06, but I don't see any text link or button about "Install Mods" in the admin area.

Anyway, I also I tried doing the edits for your Mod manually, but I must have missed something because in the Admin panel in the User Management area, there's just a checkbox and then text that says "Create new user", but it's not a submit button, text box, a text link or anything. Can you tell me what is supposed to be there ... what it's supposed to look like?

Ok, I guess I hadn't installed Easy Mod completely, but now I have ( ... begging your forgiveness ...).

I reuploaded all of the original Admin_Add_User files (unedited files that I had backed up) and started again using EasyMod.

Unfortunately, in the User Management area of the Admin Control Panel, I still only see a checkbox with the text "Create new user", but no submit button, or anything. What am I missing?
